Whether you believe it or not, it's going on and guess what? You CANNOT be neutral in this battle. As Christians, we have no option but to fight. The bible describes our warfare as wrestling, a close combat hand-to-hand fight; a conflict in which opponents tend to defeat one another with skill, strength, and endurance. So, a wrestler must be strong, understanding, possess skill, study and practice to win, knowledgeable, and vigilant.
We want to battle an area which we do not generally pray about, but is causing a lot of concerns - the hand.
God gave each hand of our hands a unique identity, so no two sets of fingerprints are the same. God also gave each hand five fingers. The number FIVE is the number of grace and our fingers combined equal TEN, which is the number of the law. A further look at our palms would reveal some strange marks and likewise, no two palms are the same.
The deep secret is this: God's gifts, special talents and destiny are recorded in our hands. Astrologers and palm readers may claim to be able to read your palm, but the truth is only God can read what he has written in your palm. This is why read the strange verse in Job 37:7,
He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his workGod set a seal on the hand of every man. This seal are the fingerprints and marks on your hands. The hand of God connotes the power of God. So, the hand signifies POWER. In Isaiah 37:27,
Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown upHands symbolize power, skill, action, purpose, blessing, expression etc. When you clasp your hands, it symbolized unity and allegiance. When you clench your hands, it symbolizes tension or suppression. When you raise your hands above your head, it symbolizes surrender. When you raise your hands to the side, it symbolizes inclusion and acceptance. When you put your hands on the chest, it symbolizes destiny and sincerity. When you fold your hands, it symbolizes contemplation or you being passive and not knowing what next to do.
Hands perform service; hands perform work; hands respond. In the bible, hands on the head represent suffering. Lifting your hands before God is a sign that you are worshipping and adoring God. In our hands, there are 27 bones. The number 27 is the number for the horn. There are 37 muscles attached to your hands. The number 37 stands for warrior. No wonder the Psalmist says in Psa 144:1,
Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fightSo, if something goes wrong with your hands spiritually, the manifestation physically will be terrible and serious. If God opens your eyes to see your hands spiritually, you may be in shock at what you would find. Perhaps, that is why God in His wisdom doesn't open too many eyes. Spiritually, some hands are smelling and rotten. No wonder if you give people with such hands something to do, it may be working before it gets to them, but as soon as it gets to them, it stops working.
Some people are actually handcuffed in the spirit realm. For such people, nothing is going to work physically because their hands are already tied up. The same applies if your hands are amputated spiritually. Physically the hands are still there, but spiritually they have been caught off!
