20 Prayers To Kill Affliction

The Bible clearly reveals the aims and objectives of Jesus’ earthly ministry. In 1John 3:8, it says, “... For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,

that he might destroy the works of the devil.” One of the enemy’s works is affliction.
This eye-opening message is loaded with power to turn around your situation, deliver you from affliction and make your captives, those to whom you were once a captive.

Read it carefully and prayerfully. It is time to receive your freedom!
Psalm 34:19-20: Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

This text shows that the fact that you are righteous does not mean you cannot be afflicted. In fact, immediately you decide to be righteous, your affliction will increase.

The more the power of God in your life, the more the enemies that will battle you. The greater the anointing, the greater the warfare. The brighter your destiny,

the harsher your attackers. However, the Bible says: “The Lord delivereth him out of them all.” This means hundred percent deliverance. I pray that any power that

wants to break your bones shall be broken into pieces in the name of Jesus.

Nahum 1:9: What do ye imagine against the Lord? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
This means God can kill completely because He is the Lord of hosts. The writer is asking what you think the Lord is and is telling you that affliction shall not rise a second time.
James 5:13: Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
This is a recommendation to anyone who is afflicted. It says: “... Let him pray.” It does not say- let him cry or worry, or fight everyone in the house. It does not say that

the person should drink alcohol or smoke Indian hemp or cigarette or commit suicide. However, it does not tell us which kind of prayers to pray.
CHARACTERISTICS OF AFFLICTION
1. It causes pain.
2. It causes suffering.
3. It causes a man or a woman to be knocked about here and there.
4. It causes embarrassment and harassment.
5. It causes a person to be knocked down completely.
6. It causes weakness.
7. It causes trouble.
8. It causes a person to be burdened.
9. It causes a person to be distressed
10. It causes oppression.
11. It causes torments.
12. It causes a person to be smitten.
The Bible makes us to understand that the rising of affliction is a fact, and that it can rise a second time. The second coming of infirmity is a fact .




AFFLICTION THAT RISES AGAIN
1. The one that is on a killing mission. That is, it did not arrive at killing the person the first time hence, it comes back so that the person would die.
2. The one that is programmed against a person and has been lectured by the devil to make sure the person does not have peace. Therefore, it torments and runs after the person.
3. The one that is bound but not dead.
Jesus said: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19.
When you tread upon a scorpion and crush it, it dies.
FACTS ABOUT THE ENEMY
He does not want you in a hospital but in a coffin. You must know that as far as you have a destiny to pursue, there will be killing agents that will be trailing you but God is the ultimate killer.

There are many enemies who will not leave you unless they die. They are killing agents and if they get hold of you, they will kill. If you give them space, they will not let you go until they have

completed their evil assignment. That is why it is very dangerous for any Christian to backslide now. You may not find your way back to Jesus before you die.

If you don’t rise up with the ability of God within you and kill this killing power, you will be killed.
There was a woman who came for counsel and I told her to get serious with the Lord and that her problem needed prayers for her to survive.

She was attending a church where they would dance all through the service.
Eventually, we arranged a prayer meeting per week and she was coming. I had to travel out of the country and when I came back,

I was told she was in hospital - she had mental neurosis. When I went to see her, I could not recognise her. Her hair was shaven and I told her that she had to pray well so that she would not die.

The Lord delivered her and she now knows the efficacy of prayers.
I had seen a person who complained of an ordinary headache and died. It means that headache was on a killing mission and it succeeded.

That headache or cancer could be a killer and unless you kill it, it will kill you. Poverty is a killer and unless you kill it, it will kill you.
There were three brothers living together and they were always fighting over food.
There was one who would always eat more than the others, yet, they were contributing the same amount of money. One day,

they fought so hard that they no longer had strength in them to do anything.
A man of God came to the house and told them that they did not have to kill each other. What they actually needed to kill was poverty.

If they had enough money, they would buy their foodstuff and each of them would eat to satisfaction.
Ulcer, diabetes, hypertension, failure, divorce and so on are all killers. If you don’t rise up in the ability of our God and kill affliction, it can kill you.

That is why the Bible says: “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8b).
There was a 39- year- old sister who was living comfortably, she had a good job, a house, a car, everything she needed. However,

no man had ever proposed to marry her. She was invited for the Power Must Change Hands programme and she went. She fasted too.
During the service, there was a word of knowledge concerning household wickedness and tormentors that were about to die because of their stubbornness in tormenting a child of God.

She did not know what that meant but she heard it.
When she got home, she made herself a cup of tea and as she was about to drink it, her telephone rang. She was told that her father just died.

She started crying and suddenly, the phone rang again and she was told that her mother just died. Her parents were divorced, so they were not living together.
As she continued crying and lamenting alone, the telephone rang again and it was from the USA. Her uncle there, just died. She now became conscious and wiped her eyes,

drank her tea and started thinking over the coincidence. She wondered what the three deaths could mean. Three months later, a brother proposed marriage to her and they got married.
Take this prayer points aggressively: Every source of affliction in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
Arrow of affliction, in my life, back fire, in the name of Jesus.
Every rain of affliction upon my life, dry up now, in the name of Jesus.
There was a very rich woman who was actually the richest in her family. She had a very comfortable house in a good location.
One day, she settled down to eat her pounded yam that was set before her suddenly. A frog came from nowhere and hopped on the pounded yam.

She carefully took the bowl of soup and turned it over the frog and pressed it down, thinking that it would die. To her amazement, when she lifted the bowl, there was no frog, dead or alive.
Suddenly, she started feeling numbness in her right arms and legs and she became paralysed. She was carried from one hospital to the other, from one herbalist to the other.

Eventually, she was taken to a Pentecostal church for prayers. She sat in a corner praying and the man of God came and asked if she was ready to surrender her life to Christ.
She was offended that the man asked her if she knew Christ when she was the Chairperson of the Ladies’ Society in the church.

She did not know that it is possible that 28 out of the 30 members of her society in the church could be witches and she would be oppressed or possessed.
Anyway, on second thoughts, she agreed that she was not born again and she surrendered her life to the Lord Jesus Christ and instantly, the power of God touched her. She stood on her feet and walked home.
At home, she heard a knock at her door. She opened and it was a relative whom she had not seen for fifteen years. That one asked her how she got her healing and she wondered how the person knew that she had any problem.
What happened? During prayers, the frog she saw on that day was commanded to come out of her and go back to the sender. It did and when the relative saw the frog, it was clear that the woman had been healed.
Take this prayer point:
Every agenda of affliction for my life, go back to your sender, in the name of Jesus.
Jesus has killing powers. He looked at an unfruitful fig tree and commanded it to die and it did. When a killing force meets another killing - force, the lesser killing force must bow.
Moses faced Pharaoh and told him that since he did not want to see his face, he would never see him again and it happened. Goliath did not go to the battlefield to joke with David.

He meant to kill David mercilessly and if David had not killed him, he would have actually killed David.
Elijah did not joke with the prophets of Baals. If he had not succeeded in dealing with them , they would have dealt with him Anyone who goes to hell fire,

gets there because he or she did not kill sin and so, the sin remained alive to kill the person.
KINDS OF PRAYERS THAT KILL AFFLICTION
1. Prayers of authority.
For example,
“I take authority over you spirit behind this affliction in the name of Jesus.”
2. Prayer to disobey the evil commands of the enemy. Sometimes, the enemy sits a person down and shows him or her the magnitude of

his or her problems and then commands the person to start crying or getting anxious or even commit suicide.
3. Prayers that undo the works of the enemy.
4. Prayers to silence the angel of death
5. Prayers that address the earth and seas, the heavenlies and the elements.
6. Prayers that force evil powers to vomit what they have swallowed. Sometimes, a person is shared spiritually amongst witches and eaten up. Physically,

the person would have an incurable disease that would defy all human knowledge and medicine .
7. Prayers to force wicked powers to drink their own blood and eat their own flesh.
The Psalmist says: “When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell” Psalm 27:2.
Prophet Isaiah said: “All those who want to drink your blood shall drink their own blood until they be drunken with it.” This means there are eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood.
8. Prayers to force evil powers to carry out your orders.
9. Prayers that issue judgement.
10. Prayers that divert arrows.
A lot of people are going through various levels of afflictions and I would like to give you some prayers points which have catastrophic effects on the enemy.
First of all, I want you to pray that none of your prayer arrows shall miss its target today.
Sample Prayer Points:
You powers of affliction in my life, go to the pit before your time, in the name of Jesus.
This means that you are burying them alive. It is the same as “... fall down and die.” Jesus saw some demons and they begged Him not to send them there.

They don’t like going there because that marks the end of their activities
Every power of affliction in my life, come out with all your roots, in the name of Jesus.
When you uproot a plant and tear its roots, it does not thrive again.
You powers of affliction in my life, I render you homeless by the Blood of Jesus.
You powers of affliction in my life, receive triangular attack by the Father, Son and Holy Ghost; by the Blood, Spirit and Water; by the sun, moon and stars.
There is no power that can withstand the attack by the triangular powers.
You powers of affliction in my life, eat your own flesh and drink your own blood.
Every power that wants me to die, die in my place after the order of Haman.
Let the weapons of affliction against my life backfire, in the name of Jesus.
Every source of affliction in my life, receive double destruction, in the name of Jesus.
Powers of affliction, dig your own graves, fall into them and be buried, in the name of Jesus.
Spirits of affliction, I dispatch you unto dry and waterless places.
God is the ultimate machine, in His killing activity, any power that opposes or stand in the way, will be destroyed.
If you don’t want affliction to rise again in your life, I want you to pray the following prayer points with aggression and as you do, you are making a good bargain.

Don’t pray them like a gentleman or woman because that would mean that affliction is a friend of yours and it will likely remain in place.
The Lord has promised that as you pray these prayer points, this week will be a terrible one for the enemy and there shall be chaos in the heavenlies against powers that are bent on destroying the child of God.
Any power raining incantations on you, going from one herbalist to the other, taking your wrapper or underwear or name or shoes or menstrual pad from one altar to the other,

will be dealt with. Some people vowed not to eat nor drink until Paul was killed; they put themselves under an oath because of him.
Today, all the powers that have taken oaths and entered into covenants against you shall be dealt with as you pray. I want you to understand that if you don’t kill them, they will kill you.
In 1995, we were at a vigil in the church premises and four birds flew past. We pointed at them and commanded the fire of the Holy Ghost to consume them.
One of them crash- landed and transformed into an old woman. I went close to her and she said they were not coming to disturb us but were on

their way to the University of Lagos to strengthen the cults there. I asked if she would now surrender her life to the Lord Jesus Christ since she had

found out that His power is greater than theirs. She said she would not and that she had already made a covenant with the devil and sold out her soul to him.
An enemy that has decided not to leave you alone unless you die is not the kind to joke with. Get ready, beloved, to pray these prayers with anger in your spirit

and let them know the power of our God. Let them know that there is a God called the God of Elijah, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, Jehovah the Man of war.

ONE THING YOU MUST DO
Beloved, if you are reading this message and have not yet surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, you cannot pray to kill affliction. Therefore, I would advise

that you do so now. Confess your sins to Him and ask for forgiveness. Ask the Father to cleanse you with the Blood of Jesus and ask

the Lord to come into your life and become your personal Lord and Saviour.
I congratulate you on this decision you have just taken. My prayer for you is that the Holy Ghost will come upon you right now and overshadow you

with the power to kill all forms of affliction in your life. I pray that the Most High God will fight your battles, give you resounding victory and destiny-fulfilling breakthroughs.

Now, take these prayers with thunder in your voice.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Power of God, arise and kill my affliction, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every weapon of affliction fashioned against me, die, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every power that wants me dead, die in my place, in the name of Jesus.
4. Every inherited affliction, my life is not your candidate, therefore, die, in the name of Jesus.
5. Thou power of multiple - affliction in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every blood -sucking affliction and flesh eating affliction, attack yourselves, in the name of Jesus.
7. Father Lord, by the forgiving and atoning blood of Jesus, cause my sins to become white as snow, in the name of Jesus.
8. My Father, give me the grace to walk in Your counsel and not in the counsel of the ungodly, in the name of Jesus.
9. Thou triumphing and overcoming blood of Jesus, avail for me now, in the name of Jesus.
10. I break the power of physical and spiritual slavery over my life in the name of Jesus.
11. The power to rule in the midst of my enemies, fall upon me now, in the name of Jesus.
12. My Father, break my enemies with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like the potter’s vessel, in the name of Jesus.
13. O Lord, let my enemies fall by their own counsels, in the name of Jesus.
14. By the finger of God, I destroy the root and power of every problem in my life, in the name of Jesus.
15. My Father, give me the heathen for my inheritance and the uttermost part of the earth for my possession, in the name of Jesus.
16. O Lord, deliver my portion from locusts and caterpillars, in the name of Jesus.
17. O Lord, make my life a watered garden, in the name of Jesus.
18. O Lord, cause me to prosper and be in good health all the days of my life, in the name of Jesus.
19. O Lord, grant me mercy grace and help in the time of need, in the name of Jesus.
20. My Father, bless me mightily and compass me with favour as with a shield, in the name of Jesus.
