A little boy was telling his grandma how "everything" was going wrong: school, family problems, severe health problem, etc. Meanwhile, Grandma was baking cake. She then asked her grandson if he would like a snack, to which, of course, he said yes."Here, have some cooking oil." "No" said the boy. "How about a couple of raw eggs?" "that's terrible, Grandma!""Would you like some flour then? Or maybe some baking soda?" " Grandman, they all smell bad!" To which Grandma replies: "Yes, all those things seemed bad by themselves, but when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderful delicious cake!" God works in the same way! Many times, we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. God knows that when He puts all these things in His order, they always work together for good! We just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful" Job said in Job 23:10: "But he knoweth the way that I take: When he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold." he was also saying (paraphrased): "Oh, when he has baked me, I shall come forth as a wonderful cake." Indeed, I love to describe God sometime, as a "Baker" and any allowed pain or trial in your life is the baking process of your destiny! No wonder Peter Marshall wrote:"God will not permit any trouble to come upon us unless He has a specific plan by which great blessings can come out of that trial." That is why,no matter how 2013 has been and in this 3rd quarter of this year, you must NEVER give up now! just as a gem cannot be polished without friction, so without "organised and supervised trouble," your decoration cannot be baked. God is up to something awesome in your life this year! Hold on and hold out!
